“Flowery coffee”

“Flowery coffee” in the truest sense of the word.
Who still knows the actual meaning of this statement today? If the little flower was painted on the bottom of the coffee cup, the bean coffee was clearly brewed too thinly. Whether this was due to stinginess, thriftiness or simply because there was not enough coffee powder available remains to be seen.
So when the little flower shone through the coffee, you were served a “little flower coffee”.
